Just a quick safety warning & thank you!

Hello all –

Based briefly on the title, I’m sure you can all guess what this will be about. Whether you are posting a comment here on my blog or on any of my other more public sites, please be sure you don’t leave any personal information such as your address or phone number. Though you may not be aware of the dangers you are bringing to yourself, I just want all of you to be as safe as possible!

Also, I would like to bring to light that I’ve seen some people trying to pass as me and reply to some of you all. Please note that even though I don’t make blog posts as often as I used to, I do log on from time to time. I do try to reply to you all when I have the time, but it’s not very often. If you are unsure of whether I am the person you are talking to, here’s a quick way to know. My profile when I’m commenting looks a little something like this:

My post is the second one, with my full name and a picture, usually something recent such as a music video or something to promote what I’m currently working on. Also, my name will ALWAYS redirect to my blog – officialselgomez.wordpress.com

And lastly, I just wanted to thank you all for the continued support. “Good For You” is doing so much better than I anticipated and I cannot thank you all enough. You are all a blessing to me everyday and I thank God for what you all do for me still. Thank you thank you thank you a million times. You are all beautiful people and I owe all my success to you.

Spring Breakers & Music

“Spring Breakers” released everywhere last night, yesterday. It is rated R, so if you are 17 and want to see it, I really encourage you to see it. It’s different, but it is a good movie. It may look predictable, but it has some unexpected twists and turns. If you are not old enough to see it, don’t worry, I do have new music and new projects coming out for my younger audiences. :)

 

I’m sure many of you have heard “Rule the World.” If not, click the following link to listen to it: Rule The World

Just to be clear, “Rule The World” will not be on my next album. A hacker leaked it and I have decided not to put it on the album.

 

My next upcoming single, titled “Come & Get It” will be released digitally April 9, so look out for that! :)

And also, for my fourth album, I will be touring in the United States, but I will also be going on a my very first World Tour! We are still figuring out the dates and what countries i will be going to, but i am very excited.

Selena to host 2011 MTV EMA

Selena Gomez has been confirmed as the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs.

Acting as host for the main show, Gomez will be overseeing all the onstage antics, performances, winners and unforgettable moments of the evening.

Selena will also be helping out on the digital front, juggling several duties to engage with EMA fans all over the world, from checking Twitter to sharing behind-the-scenes gossip .

Speaking of her new role, the 19-year old star stated: “I’m so excited to be the host of the ‘2011 MTV EMA’ – it’s a dream come true!” Gomez added: “This is such a huge event that always recognises the biggest stars in music from across the globe, so it’s a real honour to be MC at this year’s show.”

Selena Nominated for six 2011 Teen Choice Awards!

The first wave of 2011 Teen Choice Award Nominees has been announced! You read right, our one and only Selena Gomez has been nominated in six different categories! These include Choice Female Hottie, and Choice TV Actress in a comedy for her starring role on “Wizards of Waverly Place,” which is also up for Choice TV Show in the Comedy category. Selena Gomez & The Scene have also been nominated for Choice Music: Group, Choice Music: Single with “Who Says” and Choice Music: Love Song with “Love You Like a Love Song”. Voting is open now!
