I have to be honest, I don’t really keep up with the media or the latest actors or artists, I don’t read the tabloids and I don’t normally watch any sort of award shows. I’m a nanny and a youth leader in my church, so kids and Jesus are my passion. My two friends just recently moved to LA and were excited to find out you go to Hillsong, I thought that was awesome having someone so known for in the entertainment business being a Christian, what an amazing opportunity to be an example. Ok so now that you have read my story I will tell you, I live in a small town out of California, it’s called Tulare I know u probably haven’t heard of it but that’s ok. I had a ticket to your show but instead of using it I have it to the person who I mentioned in my story. I have been in a lot of my school plays and have a real passion, unfortunately there haven’t been many opportunities for me. I’m 13 and was born with a disease called heart murmur, I know it sounds strange but it’s when there is a hole in ur heart. I don’t want to bore u with details but I spent basically the first year and a half of my life in the hospital. Anyways I was wondering if you would be performing anywhere near the Fresno area? I’m about an hour away from there and maybe my parents would let me go. Anyway I mentioned my acting uggghhhh I keep changing topics!!! Lol but seriously I really enjoy it and am really considering pursuing a career in that area, if I get the chance, do you have any advice for me?

Questions about how to get started in the acting/singing business get asked a lot, and honestly, I’m not the right person to ask lol. I started when I was about 6, but I can tell you if you really want to be an actress, pursue it with everything you have and don’t let anyone put you down. There will always be people who will tell you that you can’t act and so on and so forth. Even if you go to auditions and get shot down a few times, practice, practice, practice, practice. I can’t stress that enough. When I did auditions, I was always so nervous and so shy and I got rejected tons of times. Practice makes perfection and remember to always believe in yourself and eventually others will too, if not from the beginning. Good luck! X

Honestly, like I just stated above, I’m not the best person to answer questions like this. The best advice I can give you if you want to be a famous singer is to record demos. You could pull a Taylor Swift and go door to door to studios and ask them to listen to your demos lol. But in all seriousness, besides demos, I would suggest getting an agent (but please please be smart about this and ask an adult and do some research because there are plenty of scams out there and I want you to be safe).
Before you think about seriously becoming a famous singer, please please realize that it’s not all glitz and glamour and the business can have a negative impact. However, if it’s really what you want to do, I wanna wish you a huge good luck and God bless. I love you so much, sweetie. X
